5 Highly Anticipated Movie Trailers To Watch

I love watching movie trailers because they give me a hint of what the upcoming movies are about. And these following trailers that I’m about to share are some of the new movies that will hit the theatres by the end of the year or early next year. They really look teasing and highly anticipated by a lot of moviegoers.

1. Murder On The Orient Express (2017)

Release date: November 10, 2017
Directed by: Kenneth Branagh
Casts: Kenneth Branagh, Penélope Cruz, Johnny Depp

Sir Hercule Poirot is in the house! Or to be exact on the train named The Orient Express to solve a murder case. I have read some of Agatha Christie’s crime novels, but never this one. So I was contemplating whether or not reading the novel before watching the movie would be a good idea. The trailer looks interesting. A lot of big names in the movie industry and Kenneth Branagh is directing the movie and starring as the main role. I hope this movie will be successful so I can look forward to watching more movies based on Christie’s famous novels.

2. Red Sparrow (2018)

Release date: March 2, 2018
Directed by: Francis Lawrence
Casts: Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton

Jennifer Lawrence is an ex-prima ballerina turned to a spy. She is beautiful, smart, and dangerous. I have a strong liking for Jennifer Lawrence and always look forward to watching her new movies. I have no idea what kind of mission she is going to do and whose ass she’s going to kick in this movie. But this trailer is really promising and I can’t wait!

3. Deadpool 2 (2018)

Release date: 2018
Directed by: David Leitch
Casts: Ryan Reynolds,

I cannot help myself from laughing! One of the scenes shown here in the trailer is a terrible killing of a seemingly innocent old man and I know it’s not funny. But Ryan Reynolds struggling to put on his superhero costume in a phone booth, flashing off his butt in the middle of a progressing crime, is just hilarious. Is something wrong with me or do you also find this totally laughable?

4. Paddington 2 (2017)

Release date: January 12, 2018
Directed by: Paul King
Casts: Ben Whishaw, Hugh Grant

The first Paddington movie was a success so it is no wonder that they decided to make its sequel. The trailer looks promising, except the part where Hugh Grant appears awkwardly. I don’t understand why he feels the need to be involved in this movie. Whoever is casting him, I hope they were sober when doing so. Still, I am anticipating the movie because I love Paddington.

5. Blockers (2018)

Release date: April 16, 2018
Directed by: Kay Cannon
Casts: John Cena, Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz

Three parents are trying to stop their daughters from losing their virginity on prom night. From decoding naughty emojis to butt-chugging beer, this trailer is labeled red band and so is the movie. I remember Leslie Mann from comedy movies like The 40-Year Old Virgin (2005) and The Other Woman (2014) and I find her effortlessly funny. I don’t have high expectation for this kind of movie, but I think it’s going to be the kind of movie I need to watch when I need to lighten up and laugh all my stress away.
